Guest laundry in Rhodes
No hotels. Plenty of guests. Here's how that actually works.
Rhodes is worth being direct about: it has a corporate park full of demand and no hotels at all. Rhodes Corporate Park hosts Nestlé, AbbVie and HP, and the visitors those offices generate have to stay somewhere else — the Olympic Park cluster two kilometres west, the Concord Hotel about 1.3km away, or the Ryde properties to the north. Every directory that tells you otherwise is counting residential apartment towers as accommodation.
We service all of those on our western run, and we collect directly from Rhodes' residential and build-to-rent apartment towers where guests are staying long-term. No concierge desk needed; we book a handover window instead, which is a fifteen-minute slot at the lobby or the door rather than an all-day wait. For someone on a six-week assignment in a serviced apartment, that turns out to be more convenient than a hotel front desk, not less.
Pricing does not change because there is no hotel involved. Wash and fold from $6.50 an item, dry cleaning from $15.00, press and steam from $8.00, a flat $12 for pickup and delivery, no minimum order, and hands-on garment care on every order. Express turnaround from six hours where capacity allows; standard is next day.
Where we collect in Rhodes
Direct handover from Rhodes apartments, plus the nearest genuine hotel supply — all of it on our daily western run.
Staying in a Rhodes apartment rather than a hotel?
That is the normal case in 2138, not the exception. The Meriton towers at Rhodes — Vantage North, The Peninsula and BAIA — are residential and build-to-rent rather than hotels, and the same goes for most of the Rider Boulevard and Walker Street buildings. We collect from all of them on a booked handover window. Book a pickup, enter your building and unit at checkout, and choose a fifteen-minute slot that suits your day rather than waiting in. ---
Effortless for your guests
How a Rhodes pickup works
-
Book a handover window
Choose your service and a fifteen-minute slot between 7am and 7pm, rather than a concierge drop. Most Rhodes guests pick something either side of the walk to the Rider Boulevard offices.
-
Hand it over at your building
Meet the driver in the lobby of your tower, or leave it with your building's parcel desk where there is one. No front desk needed and no waiting in all day.
-
We clean it properly
Sorted by fabric and care label, then washed, dry cleaned or pressed by garment technicians at our own facility. Business shirts and suits are the bulk of what we take from Rhodes.
-
Handed back at your window
Returned pressed and bagged at a second booked slot. Express from six hours; standard is next day. On a long assignment, most people set the same two slots every week and stop thinking about it.

Serving guests across Rhodes
Our Rhodes coverage runs Blaxland Road and the Rider Boulevard corporate strip, Rhodes Waterside with IKEA and Reading Cinemas, and the Bennelong Bridge busway across to Wentworth Point. We collect at Rhodes station on the T9 Northern line and along the Brays Bay foreshore and Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway.
Concord Repatriation General Hospital is about 1.5km away and adds a medical-visitor layer to what is otherwise a purely corporate suburb. Visitors on that side of the peninsula tend to book weekly rather than one-off, for the same reason medical stays do everywhere: nobody knows at the start how long they will be here. Both patterns are covered on the same run.
Because Rhodes has no accommodation of its own, the neighbouring pages matter more here than usual. The nearest supply sits at Sydney Olympic Park two kilometres west, with Homebush beyond it, Burwood to the south and Macquarie Park & North Ryde north across the river. All on our daily routes, all the same turnaround.
Questions guests ask
From serviced and short-stay apartments in Rhodes directly, on a booked handover window, and from the nearest hotel supply: the Sydney Olympic Park cluster about two kilometres west, Concord Hotel 1.3km away, and the Ryde and Mortlake properties. All are on our daily run. We would rather tell you that plainly than list residential towers as hotels, which is what most directories covering 2138 do.
A standing weekly collection at a fixed window. Rhodes stays are typically multi-week corporate assignments into Nestlé, AbbVie, HP and the other Rider Boulevard tenants, and per-item pricing means a long stay costs no more per garment than a one-off booking. Set the slot once, and it repeats until you tell us the assignment has ended.
Vantage North, The Peninsula and BAIA are residential and build-to-rent buildings, not Meriton Suites hotels — a distinction that catches out a lot of people booking travel into Rhodes. We collect from all of them, and from the rest of the Rider Boulevard and Walker Street apartment stock, on a handover window rather than through a front desk.
Two options. Most buildings in Rhodes have a concierge or parcel desk that will hold a bag, and that is the simplest route — you leave it in the morning and collect it from the same place. Where there is not one, we book a fifteen-minute slot at either end of your day: before 9am or after 5pm both work, since our window runs 7am to 7pm daily.
Yes. Concord Repatriation General Hospital is about 1.5km from Rhodes and Concord Hotel is 1.3km, and both sit on the same run as the corporate park. Weekly or twice-weekly collections at a fixed window are the usual arrangement for extended hospital visits, priced per item with no minimum order.
Wash and fold from $6.50 per item, press and steam from $8.00, stain treatment from $10.00, dry cleaning from $15.00, and a flat $12 for pickup and delivery whatever the size of the order. No minimum. You are invoiced after cleaning and before delivery, and every order carries hands-on garment care. Long assignments are billed the same way — there is no contract to sign.
