Coogee changed in April 2026, when the beachfront hotel on Arden Street reopened as InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach. The suburb now runs luxury leisure and hospital-precinct long stays out of the same eleven properties, and both end up with the same problem: no usable in-room laundry, and the ocean two hundred metres away. We collect from reception, seven days a week.

Guest laundry in Coogee
Two guest types. One collection run.
Coogee has the deepest accommodation market in the eastern suburbs, and it shifted significantly in April 2026 when the Crowne Plaza became InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach — 198 rooms, an ocean-facing infinity pool and, in the hotel's own framing, Sydney's only luxury beachfront property. Around it sit Adina on Coogee Bay Road, the Coogee Bay Hotel complex, Coogee Sands, Dive Hotel and a hostel cluster that lives off the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk.
Eleven properties, and two entirely different laundry problems inside them. Beach guests arrive with towels, swimwear and rash tops that need salt, sand and chlorine drawn out properly. Medical and academic visitors from the Randwick precinct two kilometres north are here for weeks, living out of a serviced apartment, and need a reliable weekly cycle more than they need speed. The same driver, the same window, two completely different processes at our end.
We collect from reception at every property on the list, with no minimum order and $12 flat pickup and delivery. Standard turnaround is next day; express is six hours, which in practice means a morning collection is back before dinner at the Coogee Bay Hotel. Long-stay guests should ask for a standing weekly window instead of rebooking — the per-item pricing is identical either way.

Serving guests across Coogee
Our Coogee route covers the Arden Street beachfront, the Coogee Bay Road retail spine, Dolphin Street, Carr Street, Brook Street and the Clovelly Road edge. We collect beside Goldstein and Dunningham Reserves, near Wylie's Baths, McIver's Ladies Baths and the Ross Jones Memorial Pool, and at the southern terminus of the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk, where a surprising number of bookings start with someone finishing the six-kilometre track and realising nothing they are wearing is going back in the case dry.
Coogee is bus-only. No train, no light rail, and the nearest rail alternative is the L2 terminus at High Cross in Randwick. What keeps the suburb's serviced apartments full midweek is not tourism at all — it is the Randwick Health & Innovation Precinct two kilometres north and UNSW at about 2.5 kilometres, which together produce long, unplanned stays. The beach fills the same rooms on weekends and through summer. Very few Sydney suburbs swing that hard between Tuesday and Saturday.
That north-south pull is also why our run is shaped the way it is. The same drivers cover Randwick two kilometres up Coogee Bay Road, Maroubra about three kilometres south, and Bondi Beach and Bondi Junction at the top of the coastal walk.

Beach items are separated on arrival and processed specifically to lift salt, sand and chlorine rather than being run in with general washing, which is what leaves fabric stiff and holding a smell. It is the most-booked service in Coogee through summer, and there is no minimum order, so a single bag of towels is a perfectly normal booking.
Yes, and Coogee's serviced apartments carry a lot of that demand from the Randwick precinct two kilometres north. Ask for a standing weekly or twice-weekly collection at a fixed window so you are not rebooking around hospital hours. Pricing is per item, so a five-week stay costs no more per garment than a single pickup.
Yes — the beachfront property at 242 Arden Street became InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach in April 2026. It is the same building and the same address, and it is on our daily route under either name. If your confirmation still says Crowne Plaza, book with the address and we will find you.
Yes, provided you tell us at checkout. Bondi Beach and Coogee sit on the same collection run, so if you are collecting from one end of the walk and checking into a property at the other, we can deliver the return to the second hotel's reception. Note both property names in the booking so the driver is routed correctly.
Wash and fold starts at $6.50 per item, press and steam at $8.00, stain treatment at $10.00 and dry cleaning at $15.00. Pickup and delivery is a $12 flat fee with no minimum order, and every order carries hands-on garment care. You are invoiced after cleaning and before delivery, so nothing is charged blind.
Seven days, 7am to 7pm. Summer weekends and long weekends are the busiest periods in this suburb by a distance, and express capacity fills first, so book the collection window the night before if you need a six-hour turnaround rather than next day.
