Hotel laundry and dry cleaning in Pyrmont
Dinner at The Star, a show at the Lyric, and a dress that has spent two days folded in a suitcase. Pyrmont books more pressing than almost any suburb we cover, and for good reason. Hand it to the concierge in the morning and it is back on the hanger at reception before you need it.

Guest laundry in Pyrmont
Three streets, two demand engines, and a lot of eveningwear.
Pyrmont's hotel stock is concentrated on three streets and driven by two engines: The Star Sydney — casino, Sydney Lyric Theatre and The Star Event Centre — and ICC Sydney, ten minutes across Pyrmont Bridge. Add the media and technology offices along Harris Street and you get a precinct with genuine seven-day demand and a wardrobe problem that peaks at about five in the afternoon.
HGL collects from every property on Murray, Pyrmont and Harris Streets, including the Forbes five-star Darling. Express is six hours, which comfortably covers a show at the Lyric or an event at The Star. Everything is handled at our own facility by technicians who work with silk, sequins, satin and structured tailoring every day — not sent out in a wholesale load and hoped for.
The booking pattern here splits cleanly. Conference guests send shirts and suits mid-week, three days at a time. Weekend and event guests send one or two pieces and need them back fast. Both are the same $12 flat delivery with no minimum order, so a single dress costs you a single dress plus delivery.

Not seeing your hotel here?
The list covers the named properties on the Pyrmont peninsula, but our drivers work the whole 2009 postcode — the Harris Street apartment blocks, the Union Square boutiques and anything new that has opened since we last updated this page. Book a pickup, enter the property at checkout, and we will confirm the window. Being an HGL partner property is not a condition of anything. ---
Effortless for your guests
How a Pyrmont pickup works
-
Book online
Choose your Pyrmont hotel, the service you need and a collection window. It takes about two minutes and needs no account.
-
Leave it at the concierge
Hand the bag to the desk before you walk over Pyrmont Bridge to ICC. The driver collects from reception, not from your room.
-
We clean it properly
Eveningwear, tailoring and delicates are assessed piece by piece. Beading, sequins and silk are hand-finished rather than run through a bulk cycle.
-
Back to your hotel
Returned to reception on the hanger, pressed and covered. Six hours on express — a morning drop is back before a Sydney Lyric curtain.

Serving guests across Pyrmont
Our Pyrmont route covers Murray Street end to end, Harris Street from Union Square down to Broadway, and Pyrmont Street past The Star. We collect near the Sydney Fish Market at Blackwattle Bay, the Australian National Maritime Museum, Pirrama Park and all five Inner West Light Rail stops in the suburb.
One thing to know when you book: the Novotel, ibis, Aiden and Kith hotels branded "Darling Harbour" are all genuinely in Pyrmont, on Murray Street — while Sofitel and Furama Darling Harbour are on the other side of Cockle Bay. Both sides are on our route, so it makes no practical difference. Just give us the hotel name rather than the suburb. The same goes for The Star: the casino, The Darling and The Star Grand share an address and a concierge team, and we collect from all of it as one stop.
Guests staying on the other side of the water or up the hill are covered on the same run — Darling Harbour, Ultimo, Glebe and Sydney CBD all sit inside the same drivers' loop.
Questions guests ask
Six hours on express. A morning concierge collection is back at reception well before an evening performance. Press and steam is the fastest service in our range at $8.00 an item and the one most booked in Pyrmont for exactly this reason. Express is confirmed at booking and subject to same-day capacity, so on a big event night book your window early.
Pyrmont, and it is covered daily. Several Darling Harbour–branded hotels sit on the Pyrmont side of Cockle Bay, including the Novotel at 100 Murray Street, ibis at number 70, Aiden and Kith. Enter your hotel name at checkout and we will route it correctly regardless of what the brand name says.
Yes, and Pyrmont is where we do most of it. Embellished pieces are assessed individually before anything touches them — beading and sequins are hand-finished, structured tailoring is pressed rather than crushed, and silk is treated according to the care label rather than a default cycle. Flag anything embellished at checkout so it is routed to the right technician from the start.
Yes. The standard arrangement for conference guests here is an early collection at the front desk before you walk over the bridge, and an evening return. Over a multi-day event it is often simpler to set a standing daily or every-second-day window at booking rather than rebooking each night — pricing is per item, so splitting it across days costs no more per shirt.
Daily, through the concierge desk. Both sit inside The Star precinct on Pyrmont Street and are treated as one stop on our run. Give your room number at checkout and the bag is logged to it. The same applies to Hotel Woolstore 1888 and Oaks Goldsbrough Suites a few minutes east.
You book online without paying up front. Items are counted and assessed at our facility, then you are invoiced after cleaning and before delivery, so what you pay matches what you actually sent. Wash and fold starts at $6.50 an item, dry cleaning at $15.00, with a $12 flat delivery fee and no minimum order.
