Atura Blacktown is in Prospect. Novotel Sydney West HQ is at the West HQ precinct in Rooty Hill. Alpha Hotel Eastern Creek is out at the motorsport park. All four serve the same catchment, all four are on our route, and none of them is a five-minute walk from Blacktown station.
Demand is sport and industry. Blacktown International Sportspark, Sydney Motorsport Park, the Sydney Coliseum Theatre at West HQ, and the vast M4 and M7 logistics estates through Arndell Park, Eastern Creek and Huntingwood. Yes. Seven Hills has no accommodation of its own — none, despite what a search for hotels there will suggest — so guests looking for it end up at Atura Blacktown about four kilometres away, or at one of the other Blacktown-area properties. All of them are on the same run, and we collect from the industrial estates around Seven Hills as well.
Same building, different name. The Reservoir Road property became Mercure Sydney Blacktown around July 2022, and the old name is still published in a few places including the council's own accommodation listing. Book under either and we will collect from the same front desk.
That is a very common Blacktown booking. Wash and fold is priced per item from $6.50, there is no minimum order, and everything comes back washed, dried and folded rather than damp in a bag. Leave it at reception in the morning and it is back the following evening on standard turnaround, which fits a three or four night family stay well.
