Laundry and dry cleaning in Mosman
Mosman is the only suburb on our list where a guest can check into a zoo, a national park or a wedding on the same weekend. What all three produce is the same bag: sandy towels from Balmoral, and one good outfit that has spent four hours folded in a car. We collect daily and return everything cleaned and pressed.

Guest laundry in Mosman
Destination-led, not location-led — and it shows in the washing.
Most suburbs fill their hotel rooms because of what's nearby. Mosman fills them because of what's inside them. The Wildlife Retreat at Taronga and Roar and Snore put guests inside a working zoo; the Middle Head Officers Quarters put them inside a national park; Balmoral fills with weekenders and wedding parties. Almost nobody staying here is on business, and it changes the entire shape of the demand.
What comes out of that is a distinctive mix: family stays with children, beach and pool linen from Balmoral and Chinamans Beach, and the one good outfit brought over the bridge for a dinner at the Bathers' Pavilion or a ceremony on the headland. Very little of it is urgent on a Tuesday. Almost all of it is urgent on a Friday.
We collect from reception on the daily Lower North Shore run and return everything cleaned, pressed and bagged. Pricing is per item from $6.50, dry cleaning from $15.00, with a flat $12 pickup and delivery and no minimum order — so a single dress before a Saturday wedding is as ordinary a booking as a fortnight of family washing.
Properties we service in Mosman
From the zoo grounds to Middle Head, plus the whole-house stays that make up much of the suburb's supply.
Don't see your hotel? We still collect from it.
A large share of Mosman's accommodation is whole houses and apartments let by the weekend rather than named hotels, particularly around Balmoral, The Esplanade and Clifton Gardens. All of the 2088 postcode is on the daily run. Book a pickup, enter the address at checkout, and we'll confirm a handover window with you before the driver comes. ---
Effortless for your guests
How a Mosman pickup works
-
Book online
Choose your property, your service and a window. If there's a wedding or an event involved, book the day before rather than the morning of.
-
Leave it at reception
Wildlife Retreat, The Albert and the Officers Quarters all take handovers at their desk. For a house at Balmoral or Clifton Gardens we agree a time with you instead.
-
We clean it properly
Beach towels and swimmers separated and processed to lift salt and sand. Tailoring and dresses dry cleaned or steamed by garment technicians.
-
Back before the event
Returned pressed and on a hanger. Standard is next day; press and steam can run from six hours on the Lower North Shore route where capacity allows.
Services available in Mosman
Press and steam before the wedding, wash and fold after the beach — both on the same daily route.
Wash & fold
Everyday items washed, dried and folded to order. Sorted by colour and fabric, returned fresh and neatly packed.
Dry cleaning
Suits, dresses, coats and delicates handled by technicians who work with designer and luxury fabrics daily.
Press & steam
Suitcase creases gone before a meeting. The fastest option in our range.
Stain treatment
Wine, oil, ink and makeup treated individually before cleaning, with fabric and care label assessed first.
$12 flat pickup & delivery · No minimum order · hands-on garment care.
Serving guests across Mosman
Our Mosman route covers Military Road from Neutral Bay Junction through Spit Junction, Balmoral Beach and The Esplanade, Bradleys Head Road down to Taronga Zoo and its ferry wharf, and the Middle Head, Georges Heights and Chowder Bay reserves managed by the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust. Chinamans Beach and the Clifton Gardens end of the suburb are on the same run.
Weddings and events are the thing to plan around here. Balmoral and Middle Head are among Sydney's most-booked harbourside wedding locations, and guests routinely arrive with a garment bag that has spent four hours in a car and looks it. Press and steam, booked the day before, solves that in one line. Book the window ahead through spring and autumn, when the ceremony calendar on the headland is effectively full.
The rest of the year runs on the beach. Balmoral in summer produces the highest towel volume on the Lower North Shore run, and the zoo properties add an unusual one — guests who have been out at 6am for an animal encounter and want everything they wore washed before dinner. If you're staying just over the ridge, the same drivers cover Cremorne, Neutral Bay, Manly across the harbour and North Sydney.
Questions guests ask
Yes, through the retreat's reception, on our daily Mosman run. Bradleys Head Road, Balmoral and the Middle Head properties are all covered. Zoo access is controlled, so we work to a booked window there rather than arriving unannounced — reception will hold your bag until the driver comes through.
Yes. Press and steam is our fastest service. Book the collection for the morning before the event and it'll be back the same day, hung rather than folded. Weekend wedding demand in Mosman is heavy through spring and autumn, so book the window in advance rather than on the day.
For most people, no — one night rarely generates enough. Where it does make sense is when Roar and Snore sits inside a longer Mosman stay, or when you've come off a flight and want a suitcase refreshed before the rest of the trip. There's no minimum order, so if you only have three items, that's still a booking we'll take.
Yes. Middle Head, Georges Heights and Chowder Bay are on the daily route. They sit inside Sydney Harbour Federation Trust land with gated access and limited parking, so collection there is scheduled to a window — give us the building and we'll confirm a time before the driver leaves.
Yes, and they're worth sending separately. Salt, sand and sunscreen all behave differently to ordinary soil, so beach linen and swimwear are separated and processed to lift them rather than washed in with general items. Flag them in the notes and don't leave them sealed in a bag overnight.
No minimum. Wash and fold from $6.50 per item, press and steam $8.00, stain treatment $10.00, dry cleaning from $15.00, and a flat $12 for pickup and delivery however much you send. Every order carries hands-on garment care, and you're invoiced after cleaning and before delivery.
