Hotel laundry and dry cleaning in Brighton-Le-Sands
A suit that has been folded into a garment bag since Thursday is not a suit you want to put on for a 3pm ceremony. Leave it with the concierge at The Brighton on The Grand Parade and we'll bring it back pressed, hung and ready — ideally the day before, because Saturdays here run at capacity.

Guest laundry in Brighton-Le-Sands
One hotel carries the suburb — and it's an events hotel.
Brighton-Le-Sands is a one-hotel suburb, but the hotel matters. The Brighton Hotel Sydney – MGallery Collection carries around 300 rooms on the corner of The Grand Parade and Princess Street, and since its October 2025 rebrand and refurbishment it has become the dominant events and wedding venue on the Botany Bay foreshore. Le-Sands Apartments and South Pacific Apartments fill in the rest of the beachfront stock.
Weddings and functions produce a very particular laundry demand, and it is nothing like the demand at an airport hotel a few kilometres north. It is garment bags that need pressing on arrival, dresses that have travelled folded, groomsmen's shirts that were packed damp, and a lot of them landing on the same Saturday morning. The single most useful thing we can tell you: book press and steam for the day before the event, not the morning of.
The rest of the year the suburb runs on beach leisure and conference traffic, which brings its own work — towels and swimwear carrying salt and sand, and business shirts that need to look like they weren't in a suitcase. Both are handled at our own facility, priced per item, with a $12 flat pickup and delivery fee, no minimum order and hands-on garment care on every order.
Hotels we service in Brighton-Le-Sands
The beachfront stock along The Grand Parade, collected daily from the concierge desk or building reception.
In an apartment on the foreshore rather than the hotel?
Wedding parties routinely take half a dozen apartments along The Grand Parade rather than rooms in the hotel, and we collect from all of them. Anywhere in the 2216 postcode — Brighton-Le-Sands, Ramsgate Beach or the streets behind Bay Street — book a pickup and enter the building and unit number at checkout. If there's no concierge, the driver meets you in the lobby at a time you nominate. ---
Effortless for your guests
How a Brighton-Le-Sands pickup works
-
Book the day before, not the day of
Choose press and steam, dry cleaning or wash and fold, and pick a window. For a Saturday function, book Friday — the suburb runs at capacity on event days.
-
Hand the garment bag to the concierge
Leave it at The Brighton's front desk on your way to Bay Street for lunch. It doesn't need unpacking; we work from the bag.
-
Pressed by hand, not steamed in bulk
Wedding garments are finished individually — structured shoulders, pleats and linings assessed before anything touches them.
-
Returned hung and covered
Back to reception on a hanger under cover, held under your name. Ready to put on rather than ready to iron.

Serving guests across Brighton-Le-Sands
Our route covers The Grand Parade along Lady Robinsons Beach, the Bay Street dining strip, Princess Street and the Cook Park foreshore cycleway. We collect down toward Ramsgate Beach and the Captain Cook Bridge, and across the bay you can see Sydney Airport — about seven kilometres by road, which is why this suburb also picks up airport guests who would rather stay somewhere with a beach in front of it.
Bay Street's Greek and Lebanese restaurant strip and the foreshore are what fill the hotel on weekends; weddings and conferences fill it the rest of the time. That gives us two quite separate jobs. On a Saturday it is garment bags and same-day pressing, timed around ceremonies. Midweek it is conference shirts and family stays, where the useful service is wash and fold at $6.50 an item with everything back the next day.
Salt is the local variable. Anything that has been on Lady Robinsons Beach comes back with sand in the seams and salt in the fibres, and it needs separating from general items rather than being run through with them — the same handling we use down at Cronulla. If you're staying nearby instead, the same drivers cover Rockdale, Wolli Creek and Kogarah & Hurstville on the same run.
Questions guests ask
Yes, and it's the most common booking in this suburb. Leave the bag at the concierge on arrival and book press and steam for the day before the event rather than the morning of. Saturdays run at capacity here, and a garment that comes back on the Friday evening can be checked, hung and forgotten about. Suits, gowns and structured pieces are finished individually by hand.
It is. The property was rebranded as The Brighton Hotel Sydney – MGallery Collection on 1 October 2025 following its refurbishment, and the Novotel name is no longer in use — though a lot of older listings, directories and confirmation emails still show it. Same building, same corner of The Grand Parade and Princess Street, same collection point at the concierge desk.
Yes. Anything off Lady Robinsons Beach is separated out and processed to lift salt and sand rather than being washed in with general items, which is what leaves fabric stiff and dulled. Swimwear is handled cold and dried flat. If you're travelling with a family and a week of beach clothes, wash and fold at $6.50 an item is the practical option.
It's about seven kilometres by road and sits on the same airport corridor run, so yes. Give us your flight time at booking and we'll schedule the return against it. Standard turnaround here is next day, with express subject to same-day capacity — on a wedding Saturday express fills early, so book the night before if your flight is tight.
Yes. Le-Sands Apartments and South Pacific Apartments are on the same daily route, along with the short-stay apartments along The Grand Parade that wedding parties tend to take in blocks. Where there's no concierge, you nominate a lobby time at checkout and the driver meets you there. Multiple units under one booking is fine — tell us at checkout.
Press and steam from $8.00 per item, dry cleaning from $15.00, stain treatment from $10.00 and wash and fold from $6.50, plus a $12 flat pickup and delivery fee with no minimum order. You're invoiced after cleaning and before delivery, so you see the total before anything comes back. Every order carries hands-on garment care.
